How to Resize Images for LinkedIn

LinkedIn displays profile photos as a circle in some contexts and as a square in others. Centering the subject with space around it works for both display formats. JPEG works well for profile photos and cover images that are photographic. PNG is the better choice for company logos, graphic post images and anything with text overlays or flat color design elements.
